Forget strict 9-to-5 shifts. As long as your round is completed within the designated delivery days, you can choose the hours that suit you. It fits perfectly around school, college, or other work commitments.

Earn While You Walk

Turn your daily exercise into income. Delivering the Advertiser is a great way to get your steps in, enjoy the fresh air, and get paid for keeping active—no gym membership required.

Work Where You Live

We assign routes as close to your home as possible. You won't need to worry about long commutes or fuel costs; you simply step out your front door and start serving your local community.

JOINING THE TEAM? WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Thinking of taking on a round? Distributing the Advertiser is a rewarding way to earn extra money, but it requires commitment. Here we answer common questions about delivery days, round sizes, and physical requirements to help you decide if this role is the right fit for you.
How old do I have to be to become a distributor?
You must be aged 13+ and if under 16 have your parents consent. The position would also suit fit and active retired individuals.
It’s once a fortnight, all year round. (We can arrange cover for holidays). Deliveries must be completed between 8am and 7.30pm
We will try to offer you a route including your home address or as close to home as possible. If you are willing to travel, please say so in the notes at the end of the form.
It depends on the route – some are shorter distances than others, for example terrace houses vs streets with detached properties and longer driveways. We pay an amount per letterbox with an additional rate uplift when we have leaflets to include too. You will be self-employed, so we don’t deduct tax at source and you will be paid the day after you complete your deliveries by bank transfer (this can be in to a parents bank account). Once we match a round to your location, we’ll provide a rate pay for you to consider.
Yes, we will drop the papers and leaflets to your home on a Tuesday evening, and you have 3 days to complete your delivery route.
We will need you to track your delivery on your mobile phone (Android or Apple). This doesn’t use any data on your phone and only allows us to see your route when you have returned home and connected to Wi-Fi. To ensure your privacy there is no live tracking feature.

Join Our Delivery Team

We are always looking for reliable local people to help get the news to our neighbours. Whether you are a student, retiree, or just want some extra income, we have a route that suits your lifestyle.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We need trustworthy, conscientious individuals aged 13 and over who take pride in a job well done. You must be physically fit enough to walk for a couple of hours and reliable enough to ensure every paper is delivered on time, every time. If you know your local area well and enjoy being outdoors, you are the perfect fit for our team.

PAY, PERKS & FLEXIBILITY

In return for your hard work, we offer competitive rates of pay based on the size of your round. You will enjoy flexible working hours that fit around school or other commitments, a route assigned close to your home to minimize travel, and the health benefits of regular outdoor exercise. It is a rewarding role that keeps you active.
